My first attempt at creating a wallpaper....my photoshop skills are very low. I havent had much exposure to the program. Long as I can find decent tutorials, I stay eager to copy fine works. Please comment and point me in the right direction :)

Pretty cool and great for a first attempt.

Here's my $0.02 ..
The 45 degree stuff on the left seems at odds with the right. The whisps seem a little too blurred too, and you can see the individual brushes that make it up, you can see the different directions. To the far right you've overlaid one and it has a high brightness/whiteness that masks the others underneath, perhaps do this again over the paler ones to hide the multidirectional grain.

Anyhow, keep it up and keep experimenting!

this is the only pure ps work i have attempted so far
my brush work really needs attention i think...like everything...practice makes perfect

Thats actually really cool! I love the colors, the flare. Nice call on adding the lines and shapes, "grounds" the picture into a nice background.
