It has been far too long since I updated this thing....

So what's going on in my world?
-Looking for a new job
-Avenged Sevenfold + Bullet For My Valentine shoot @ Hordern Pav this Wed
-In a rage today I found that I could throw my Tamron 11-18mm lens across the house on to tiles and find that it still works
-www . dbedford . com - It's getting there slowly
-I shot my first pop show and who better than Celine Dion
-Shot the band that got me interested in the Alternative/Heavy Metal scene - Korn

ah yeh Chugg/Frontier usually deny me too....I shoot for an agency, so that's how I get in....say I'm shooting on behalf of them etc

I've got in through bands/promoters before after they've seen my work, but that is for the smaller bands

arranged with IKTPQ for AAA access to their farewell tour show in a few weeks, lookin forward for that

haven't heard any SOIA tunes, shot Dropkicks last year...that was for FL, got some OK shots, but the lighting wasn't anything special unfortunately - not shooting them this time around

Wish I could afford a 24-70L + 70-200L + battery grip + pocket wizards + the list goes on :)

I only rely on FL for shows put on by Chugg, KMW, Frontier etc. Most others i get passes on my own, and I HATE relying on someone else to sort things for me. I just can't get into the 'bigger' shows put on by the above.

Howdo you get yourself in?? contact bands/managers directly if promotor can't get you in??

yeah i'm saving for the Canon 24-70 or the 16-35, but i have heard from a wedding photog at work the 24-70 is the way to go.

SOIA = sick of it all...is that what you meant? they are touring w/ dropkick murphies at the end of the month. def keen to shoot them again.

PS - your latest batch of BFMV, Atreyu & A7x pics are truly amazing as expected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same lineup, but it wasn't dubbed Taste Of Chaos when it got to Australia - just a regular headline tour

as for Slipknot/Distrubed....I can only dream - I'd love to get the chance!!!!

Nice recent shots! Taste of Chaos Tour? I went in Dallas and it was amazing. I didn't get near as good of shots though :) Are you perhaps going to get a chance to photograph Slipknot and Disturbed?

We got a new FL ed for Melbs so hopefully I will score some more shows to shoot. I'm really keen to shoot SOIA again, they are one of my fave bands and would like to have the chance to shoot them this time round with my new camera.
